Auto Accident with entrapment on Route 52

Station 25 was dispatched to an auto accident reported vehicles head on with entrapment. Upon arrival of MICU 25-1, MICU 25-2 and 25-60 it was discovered that 2 occupants of a pick-up were entrapped. The pick-up, traveling south bound on Rt. 52 had struck a stake body truck with an attached utility trailer both of which were parked along the side of the roadway. The stake body truck was unoccupied.

The pick-up sustained heavy front end damage and the passenger was heavily entrapped. Due to quick and efficient work by the crews of Engine 25-2, Rescue 25, and Engine 24-2 the patient was disentangled within 25 minutes.
