After month's of hard work, on Tuesday the 15th Longwood Fire Company placed into service the New Rescue Squad.

Rescue 25 is a 2016 Pierce Arrow XT walk in Heavy Rescue. Rescue 25 has seating for 8 personnel and carry's a wide variety of specialty equipment. Some of the equipment includes:

6 pre connected Hurst Tools (Jaws of Life)
Over 172 pieces of wood cribbing for Stabilization
Full compliment of Para-Tech Rescue Struts
Low pressure and High pressure Air Bags
ArcAir cutting torch
Petrogen cutting torch
4 chain saws
2 rotary saws
Water Rescue equipment
Rope and High Angle rescue equipment
Confined Space rescue equipment
EMS and Mass Casualty equipment
A wide variety of hand tools and power tools

Rescue 25 meets the requirement for the Advanced Rescue Certification through the PA Dept. Of Health
