January 30, 2017

Longwood Fire Company in conjunction with Penn Medicine Chester County is hosting a free hands-on CPR training course. Would you know what to do if you saw someone suddenly collapse? This one-hour session explains causes, prevention, and treatment for sudden cardiac arrest. In one short hour, you will increase your confidence of recognition and basic treatments to provide life-saving assistance until the ambulance arrives. The best part is that this life-saving training opportunity is free and being held right in your back yard. Join us at the firehouse on 2/20 at 4:30PM or 5:30PM to learn. Bring the whole family, we will have ambulance and hospital staff who are certified instructors available to help train you to do cardiac compressions. RSVP at, by email or by calling the firehouse at 610-388-6880 or Chester County Hospital 610-738-2300. We look forward to seeing you on Monday!

This is not a full CPR certification course.
