This Sunday, November 5th, at 2AM daylight savings time will end as everyone enjoys an extra hour of sleep. The LFC would like to remind everyone that as you change your clocks, to also change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors as well. Changing the batteries twice a year helps to insure these important, life-saving devices are in good working order. It is a proven fact that smoke and carbon monoxide detectors save lives. Please follow all manufactures recommendations for their installation, maintenance, and replacement frequency.
