Do you need a CPR AED certification for work? Interested in learning different life saving skills? Longwood Fire Company is a great place for community education! We are happy to announce, we recently became an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site. With our AHA certified teachers and trained medical providers, Longwood Fire Company can help teach you the skills you need or want to learn!

Starting this May, we will be hosting a montly AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course. This class will be offered on the third Wednesday of every month. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. The instructor-led course teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.

Reserve your spot in class by emailing EMS@longwoodfireco.com or by calling the firehouse at 610-388-6880.
