Junior members are volunteers who are 16 or 17 years old.  They may be either emergency responders or non-emergency general members.  Juniors may ride on the fire and EMS apparatus to calls, and are subject to policies outlining what they may and may not do on an emergency scene, as well as the time of day they are allowed to respond.  Junior membership is a great way for high school students to explore potential careers in emergency services.  Specific training classes are available to junior members to give them the foundation for the time they become full firefighters.
