Longwood Fire Company is pleased to announce the purchase of a Pierce Enforcer 107’ ASL Tractor Drawn Aerial. This apparatus has been built specifically to meet the needs of this incredible community, and it is essential to the protection of both the existing properties and those in development.

We would like to extend our sincerest, heartfelt gratitude to the members of the Kennett Fire and EMS Regional Commission (Kennett, East Marlborough, Pocopson, Pennsbury, and Newlin Townships), who support us in our mission to make the Kennett and Unionville areas as safe as possible. Investments like this show how dedicated our municipal officials are to public safety as well as their local first responders.

Ladder 25 features a Cummins X15 605hp motor, TAK-4 IFS with TAK-4 on the tiller trailer, Harrison MAS-D 10kW generator, 373-feet of portable ladders, Whelen scene lighting and FireTech HiViz scene lights.

Missing Piece of Equipment

This morning we had a piece of Milwaukee equipment inadvertently fall off our Ladder truck at 926 and Conservatory Road responding an emergency.

We can see that a concerned citizen picked up the equipment as we continued to respond. We are kindly asking that our equipment be returned as it is clearly identified as belonging to Longwood Fire Co.
