On February 15 at 0957 hours, Longwood Fire and EMS crews were dispatched to Pocopson Road north of Brinton's Bridge Road for the second time in a three weeks for an auto accident with entrapment. The initial caller was a witness to the accident and reported a vehicle slid on the ice and overturned. They stated one person was trapped inside and complaining of arm pain.

Chief 25 and MICU 25-2 responded in less than 30 seconds and were soon followed by the Rescue Squad and Engine 25-2. Chief 25 arrived to find a black Buick SUV on its side and confirmed the caller's report. The crews quickly went to work stabilizing the vehicle with Para Tech Rescue Struts while the MICU crew tended to the patient. The Hurst Jaws of Life were used to cut the posts of the car so rescue crews could fold the roof down to make better access to the patient. Once the roof was down, the volunteers assisted the MICU crew with packaging and removing the patient. The patient was transported to the Chester County Hospital while Longwood crews cleaned up their equipment to get the apparatus back in service. All units returned to service at 1119 hours.
