First Due accident with Entrapment

Just before 3pm station 25 was alerted to an auto accident at Rte 1 and Onix Dr. Shortly after Rescue 25 (LaBare) went enrout and was advise that one of the patients needed extricated from their vehicle. With the report Lieutenant 25 asked Chester to upgrade to an accident with entrapment. Upon arrival the rescue crew began to stabilize the vehicle and begin the extrication. LT 25 established Rte 1 Command, updated the location to Rte 1 and Village Dr, and gave operations to the engine 25-2 officer (A. Cressman ). Both crews worked together to remove all of the glass, 4 doors, the roof and part of the steering wheel to facilitate the extrication. 19 minutes after arriving the patient was extricated and placed in the ambulance. Crews cleaned and put the tools back into service while the tow company loaded the cars. All fire apparatus returned available just before 4pm.
