In 2014, we signed a contract to replace our 2001 Pierce Quantum rescue-engine. Our apparatus committee, with the assistance of Tom Shand and Mike Wilbur of EVR, designed a Pierce ArrowXT pumper to be very similar to our 2012 Pierce ArrowXT. This was done to standardize our Engine Company to aid in operation and training requirements.

E-25-2 is a 2015 Pierce ArrowXT, 6 man cab, with a 2000gpm single stage Waterous pump, 785 gallon UPF water tank with a 30 gallon Class B foam cell. The unit features a FDNY style hose bed, special height crosslays and a medium pumper body. The unit is equipped with our standard engine company hose loads, Hurst eDraulic spreader, cutter and telescoping ram. The unit has a 184.5" wheelbase with an overall length of 29'2" and overall height of 9'4.5".

The unit will run second due on motor vehicle crashes and third due on structure fires.

The unit was sold by Curth Woerth of Glick Fire Equipment.

This vehicle was funded 100% by the residents of Kennett Township, which we are extremely grateful for their continual support of our fire company.

E-25-2 was placed in service on Sept 20, 2015.
