Each year the LFC is a proud organization to participate and educate our youth & community members about fire prevention. This year, the U.S. Fire Administration deemed the week of October 8th-October 14th, 2017 the national fire prevention week and trademarked this years motto: “Every Second Counts ... Plan 2 Ways Out!™”

The LFC members, both career and volunteer, were kept busy attending over 12 different schools/public events that included educating at least 840 school aged children. The end result is to teach our youth the importance of fire safety.
