| Today the Longwood Fire Co provided apparatus for the Wal-Mart Community Safety day at the Wal-Mart store here in our district, at the request of the Wal-Mart management staff. Crew members were on hand with the Ladder, Engine, Traffic unit, and both MICUs for the event. The apparatus were opened up to the public to allow all to explore the equipment, take a look inside of the various units, and speak with the crew members about safety. The day's events were cut short as the company was dispatched to assist in the water rescue in Chadds Ford. Thanks to the management staff at Wal-Mart for inviting our company to the event. |
