Chester County Commissioners issue 30 day burn ban!
APRIL 13
- As of this date, the Chester County Commissioners have issued a 30 day burn ban due to the long standing dry weather and numerous brush fires that have occurred in that time period.
Resolution 17-12 establishes a county wide burn ban, which supersedes any municipal ordinance that allows open burning.

- It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Life Member and Past Fire Chief Joe Johnson.
Joe joined the fire company in 1947 and held many positions throughout his career, including Past Fire Chief and Past President. EMS Coordinator wins national cooking contest

- Longwood Fire Company's EMS Coordinator, Tammy Whiteman, and Jerry Peters, the ALS Program Director at Good Fellowship Ambulance Club's Training Institute, were recently crowned the cooking contest champions at the EMS Today conference in Baltimore, Md.
