Small 1st Due Fire: 1800blk Windovr Way
FEBRUARY 05
- At 1456hrs the company was dispatched for an odor investigation in the Windovr Way section of East Marlborough Township. Asst. 25 (McCarthy) responded and was advised that the owner reported an odor of smoke in the dining room.

Traditions Training Truck Company Operations Class
JANUARY 29
- The volunteer members of the company have attended numerous training classes in the past two months. In the beginning of December 2009 the company hosted a Rapid Intervention Team and Firefighter Survival class. These 16 hour classes are designed to provide the firefighter with the necessary skills to effect a rescue of a firefighter in distress. The course was administered by the Chester County Fire ... HAZMAT Incident: Railcar leaks Propane Gas in Pocopson
JANUARY 29
- On Thursday morning, January 28, 2010, the Longwood Fire Company was dispatched along with HAZMAT Team 15 for a reported railcar leaking LPG behind the Brandywine Hardware Store in Pocopson. Rescue 25 responded and Captain Cressman immediately started up an additional engine and rescue on the assignment.

EMS Unit assist Station 36 on MVC
JANUARY 24
- At 0940 hrs this morning, Station 36 and MIC 25-2 were dispatched to the intersection of Rte 842 and Cannery Rd for a motor vehicle crash reported with two vehicles blocking. CHF 36 and MIC 25-2 responded on the initial dispatch with CHF 36 receiving a report from CHESTER that CAPT 36 was onscene at the crash with no reported injuries. LFC to receive technology makeover in Chamber contest
JANUARY 22
- Longwood Fire Company will receive a technology makeover, courtesy of the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce, Partners Plus, and Microsoft Corp.
The fire company received the second-place prize in the Ultimate Technology Makeover contest, a new Chamber offering. The prize was announced at the Chamber's annual dinner on Jan. 15.
