Two Vehicle Accident Sends One to Hospital
FEBRUARY 23
- On Tuesday afternoon, shortly after 1 PM, the Longwood Fire Company was dispatched for an auto accident with a van reportedly overturned and one occupant trapped. MICU 25-2 and 25-1 responded, followed by Rescue 25, Engine 25-2, and Traffic 25. EMS crews reported a two vehicle accident on RT 926, East of Cartmel Drive. 1st due Commercial Fire: Lenape Forge
FEBRUARY 11
- With a severe winter storm dumping a few feet of snow over the last week the members of the company staffed the firehouse from beginning to end. FEBRUARY 05
- At 1456hrs the company was dispatched for an odor investigation in the Windovr Way section of East Marlborough Township. Asst. 25 (McCarthy) responded and was advised that the owner reported an odor of smoke in the dining room. Asst. 25 arrived with normal conditions from a 2 story wood frame single family dwelling. Traditions Training Truck Company Operations Class
JANUARY 29
- The volunteer members of the company have attended numerous training classes in the past two months. In the beginning of December 2009 the company hosted a Rapid Intervention Team and Firefighter Survival class. These 16 hour classes are designed to provide the firefighter with the necessary skills to effect a rescue of a firefighter in distress. The course was administered by the Chester County Fire ... HAZMAT Incident: Railcar leaks Propane Gas in Pocopson
JANUARY 29
- On Thursday morning, January 28, 2010, the Longwood Fire Company was dispatched along with HAZMAT Team 15 for a reported railcar leaking LPG behind the Brandywine Hardware Store in Pocopson.
