Auto Accident with Entrapment - Chandler Road
AUGUST 13
- At 0226hrs the LFC was alerted for an auto accident reported with one person unconscious. Chief 25 arrived on location with one occupant trapped in the rear passenger seat, unconscious. Rescue 25 (A. McCarthy) arrived on location and immediately began stabilization and extrication of the patient. Medics requested a helicopter for a patient with with severe head and chest injuries. MVC with Entrapment: Lenape Rd south of Parkersville Rd
AUGUST 01
- At 2349 hrs the Logwood Fire Co was dispatched to the area of Rt. 52 North just south of Wawaset Rd in Pocopson Township for a motor vehicle collision reported serious. Units responded quickly and were advised that an off duty prison guard was on scene reported one patient trapped in the vehicle. - On July 20th four members from the Longwood Fire Company traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to attend Firehouse Expo, a conference consisting of more than 120 seminars and classes spread out over four days. The four participated in valuable hands on training on Wednesday consisting of Firefighter survival and Forcible Entry. Bruster's Fundraiser

- Hi Everyone! I want to invite you to Bruster's, located on Rt. 1 just south of our station, on Saturday, July 24th from 5:00-7:00 pm. We will be visiting with our Ladder truck to visit with the community. 2nd 1st Due Fire in Two Days: 100blk Center Mill Rd

- At 0357hrs the first due house fire assignment was dispatched for the house on fire in the 100blk of Center Mill Rd, Kennett Township. Units assisting on the first alarm were Station 24 and Hockessin Tanker 19.
