On 02-20-08 at 2154hrs the Rescue-Engine, with a crew of 4, was relocated to Station 23, Avondale. Avondale and Hockessin units were working a house fire in the 100blk of Walnut Run Road. At 2213hrs, E-25-2 was pulling into Avondale Borough when Chester Communications advised E-25-2 of a fire alarm in the London Grove section of Avondale's first due. Moments later Walnut Run Command requested two more engine companies. Command canceled the fire alarm for Longwood and added the rescue-engine on the box. E-25-2 arrived on location and the crew was assigned to operate in the attic division. E-25-2's crew assisted with fire suppression and extensive overhaul.
