As the engine pulled into Thorndale the 4th alarm was struck bringing E-25-2 due on the run. The engine was advised to pull onto 4th Ave and stage. As the 4th alarm units approached the scene it was quickly determined that the apparatus were going to have to stage a few blocks away. Once on the scene the crews were assigned to assist with fire suppression and overhaul on the multiple involved units of an entire city block of row homes. The Engine crew assisted with extinguishment in 3 units working with Goodwill Fire Co and East Brandywine Fire Co. The crew also secured the gas to eight units and worked with all of the assist company in overhauling the entire row. At 0438hrs the Engine was released by Fleetwood St Command. The Fireboard requested the engine to hit the street again and relocate to Station 47, Lionville, while they worked a well involved structure. The engine crew gathered the necessary cleaning supplies and headed to Lionville. The engine covered the Lionville district with no calls for service. The engine crew assisted Lionville with getting their apparatus ready for service and was released by Chief 47 at 1015hrs.
