| Today, station 25 was dispatched to the area of Rte 52 northbound in the area of Webb Barn Lane for a motor vehicle crash with air bag deployment. Units responded and arrived to find a two vehicle crash blocking the northbound lane of Rte. 52 and one vehicle off the roadway. MICU 25-3 crew arrived to initiate patient evaluation as there was only one reported injury. MICU 25-2 was utilized to safely block traffic until the balance of the fire department response arrived on scene. Rescue 25 arrived and assumed Rte. 52 Command. All units remained on scene for traffic control and one patient was transported via MICU 25-3 to Chester County Emergency Room for evaluation. Traffic was controlled by 25 fire police personnel allowing for the safe operation of the crews operating at the crash site. All units cleared the scene and turned over to PSP Avondale. |
