| Shortly before noon on Wednesday, the Longwood Fire Company was dispatched for a reported car fire on Center Mill Road in Kennett Township. Deputy Chief Bisson responded and was notified by Chester County fireboard of a fire in the engine compartment of a SUV sill in the driveway. Bisson arrived on scene and confirmed the report. Engine 25-2 was soon to follow and extinguished the fire within 3 minutes of being on scene. Ladder 25 also responded but was staged on Center Mill Road, all units returned at 1203 hours. |
