At 1511hrs the Fire Company was alerted for a truck fire on Brinton's Bridge road in Pennsbury Township. Chester County Fireboard reported that a truck was on fire with multiple burn victims.

Engine 25-2 (B. McCarthy) responded and arrived on location to find a well pumping truck on fire with exposure to a house under construction and two other construction vehicles. The crew from E25-2 pulled an attack line and placed it in service between the house and the truck. With the first line in place to contain the fire, a second line was pulled to maintain the exposure to the house.

MICU 25-3 arrived on location and immediately began rendering care to the two burn victims who had been operating the truck at the time of the fire. They were assisted by Ambulance 24-2 which arrived on the scene shortly thereafter.

Engine 25-1 (Cressman) arrived on location and immediately began to supply E25-2. Captain 25-A established Brinton's Bridge Road Command and requested Tanker 36 and the Fire Marshals to the scene.

Delaware County Engine 59-2 arrived on location and entered the house with tools and a thermal imaging camera to check for extension. Tanker 36 arrived and began to supply E25-1.

MICU 25-3 and Ambulance 24-2 transported the patients to Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Captain 25 arrived on Ladder 25 and assumed operations. Captain 25 requested an additional ambulance for the fire crews.

The fire was placed under control at 1533hrs and crews began foam operations to secure the fuel and hydraulic fluid that had spilled from the truck. The Department of Environmental Protection was notified due to the large amount of fluids that were spilled.

Crews from Engine 36 and Engine 59-2 assisted with the final mop up. An excavator was used to move dirt to gain better access to the truck and contain the runoff.

The fire was contained to the rear of the well pumping truck and only minor exposure damage occurred to the outside of the house.

Ambulance 2-2 (Berwyn) was on the scene for rehab and monitoring of the fire crews.

Units cleared the scene at 1645hrs.
