| At 1816hrs LFC, Delco 59 (Concordville) and Tanker 36 (Po-Mar-Lin) were dispatched on the first alarm assignment to 42 Blue Stone Dr in Pennsbury Township for the house on fire. E-25-1 (Cressman) responded at 1819hrs and was advised that bushes in front of the residence caught fire and the fire was now extending to the front of the structure. Additional information was provided that the "fire has destroyed the front of the house". E-25-1 arrived on location and was faced with a long narrow driveway. The engine laid a 1400ft 5" supply line and positioned the apparatus in the front yard. Capt. Cressman provided a supplemental report of the fire appeared to be out and units were checking for extension. Capt. Cressman advised Ladder 25 (Bowman) to enter the driveway and assist with overhaul while the second due engine was to pick up the line in case additional water was needed. Chief 25 (Ruoss) arrived and established Blue Stone Command. Units worked to cool the remaining hot spots and ensure no fire entered the residence. Units returned at 1930hrs. |
